Vinyl Lettering Edmonton
Vinyl Lettering in Edmonton for Vehicles, Windows, Walls, and Equipment
Vinyl lettering is the most cost-effective way to add professional branding to almost any surface. Cut from pressure-sensitive vinyl using a precision plotter, individual letters, numbers, and graphic elements are applied directly to windows, vehicles, walls, and equipment. No ink, no carrier background: just the shape of the letter or logo adhered cleanly to the surface.
What Vinyl Lettering Is and How It Is Made
Precision Cut. Colour-Accurate. Ready in Days.
Vinyl lettering begins as a flat sheet of pressure-sensitive vinyl in the specified colour. A vinyl plotter cuts the letters, numbers, or graphic shapes from the sheet using a precision blade controlled by a computer file derived from the artwork. The cut shapes are weeded, a transfer tape is applied, and the transfer tape is used to position and apply the letters to the target surface. Once applied and the transfer tape removed, only the cut vinyl shape remains.
Because each letter is cut from solid-colour vinyl rather than printed, cut vinyl lettering maintains colour accuracy over time without fading or colour shift. This makes it particularly appropriate for brand colour applications where consistency is important. Simple vehicle lettering and window lettering jobs can be produced and installed within 1 to 3 business days after approved artwork.
Vinyl Lettering Applications
Five Applications. Every Surface. Any Colour.
From a single window lettering job to a fleet of vehicles, we produce vinyl lettering for every surface and application in-house at our Edmonton facility.
01
Vehicle Lettering
Company name, phone number, website, logo, and service description on service vans, trucks, cars, and equipment. The most cost-effective vehicle branding option. Cast vinyl rated for outdoor automotive use: 5 to 7 years in direct outdoor exposure.
02
Storefront Window Lettering
Business name, hours, contact information, and promotional messaging on storefront glass. Applied to the inside of the glass for durability or outside where interior application is not practical. Available in opaque, metallic, and translucent vinyl colours.
03
Wall and Office Lettering
Company names, taglines, values statements, and decorative text on interior walls. Cut from low-tack wall vinyl that adheres to painted drywall and is removable without wall damage. Used in reception areas, conference rooms, corridors, and branded environments.
04
Sign Face Lettering
Cut vinyl letters and graphics applied to existing sign panels, sandwich boards, and A-frame inserts. Updating the vinyl on an existing sign structure is more cost-effective than replacing the full sign for messaging changes.
05
Equipment and Asset Identification
Equipment numbers, safety labels, hazard markings, and compliance identification on machinery, vehicles, and assets. Reflective vinyl for high-visibility applications. Aggressive-adhesive formulations for difficult surfaces.

Vinyl Finish Options
Gloss, Matte, Metallic, Reflective, Translucent, and Fluorescent.
We maintain a broad inventory of vinyl colours and finishes and can source specialty materials for specific applications.
Cut vinyl lettering is available in a wide range of finishes beyond standard gloss colours: matte finishes for a more subdued, contemporary look; metallic finishes in gold, silver, and bronze tones for premium applications; reflective vinyl for nighttime visibility; translucent vinyl for backlit applications; and fluorescent vinyl for safety and high-visibility uses.
We use cast vinyl for all vehicle and outdoor sign applications. Cast vinyl lasts 5 to 7 years in direct outdoor exposure and removes more cleanly than economy calendered vinyl. For temporary signage and seasonal promotions, calendered vinyl is available at a lower cost point.
For standard brand colours, we match from our vinyl colour inventory using the closest available equivalent to your Pantone specification. For exact Pantone matching, custom-coloured vinyl is available on order. Any font that can be converted to a vector outline file can be cut in vinyl.
Standard Gloss and Matte
Wide range of standard colours in gloss and matte finishes. Matte for contemporary, subdued applications. Gloss for maximum visibility and colour saturation.
Metallic and Reflective
Gold, silver, and bronze metallic finishes for premium applications. Reflective vinyl for high-visibility nighttime applications on vehicles, signs, and equipment.
Translucent and Fluorescent
Translucent vinyl for backlit sign faces where light needs to pass through the lettering. Fluorescent vinyl for safety, high-visibility, and promotional applications.
Cast Vinyl, 5 to 7 Years
Cast vinyl for all vehicle and outdoor applications. Colour-accurate, conformable over curves, and removes cleanly. Calendered available for short-lifespan and temporary applications.
Production and Application
Cut In-House. Applied by Our Team or Supplied for Client Install.
We cut all vinyl lettering in-house using precision plotter equipment. For vehicle and window applications, our installation team applies the lettering on-site with proper surface preparation. For sign face and equipment applications where on-site installation is practical for the client, we supply the lettering on transfer tape with clear application instructions.
For vehicle applications, we ensure the surface is clean and free of wax, silicone, and contaminants before application. Heat application during removal softens the adhesive, allowing vinyl to be peeled cleanly from painted surfaces. We recommend professional removal for vehicle applications where paint condition is important.
