Vehicle Graphics in Edmonton for Businesses and Commercial Fleets
Not every vehicle needs a full wrap to carry a professional brand message. Vehicle graphics cover a range of applications from simple cut vinyl lettering on a door to complex printed partial wrap graphics covering multiple panels. A practical and cost-effective option for businesses that want professional branded vehicles.
Design Considerations for Vehicle Graphics
Legible at 10 Metres. Readable at 50 km/h.
Effective vehicle graphics communicate the key message clearly from the distances and angles at which drivers and pedestrians actually see them. The most common mistake in vehicle graphic design is including too much information. A phone number and a service description read from 10 metres at 50 km/h. A paragraph of text does not.
For most service and trade businesses, the essential elements are: company name, primary phone number or website URL, and one or two lines describing the core service. Logo and brand colours tie it to the rest of your branding. We advise on content hierarchy during the design consultation to ensure the graphic delivers its message in the conditions it will be viewed in.
Types of Vehicle Graphics
Six Vehicle Graphic Options at Every Price Point
From cut vinyl lettering on a single door to printed partial wraps across a complete fleet, we produce every vehicle graphic format in-house.
01
Cut Vinyl Lettering
Precision-cut vinyl letters and logos applied directly to vehicle surfaces. The most cost-effective vehicle branding option. Available in a wide range of colours including gloss, matte, and metallic finishes. Removable without damage to the vehicle surface. Produced and installed quickly at a fraction of the cost of a partial wrap.
02
Printed Vehicle Decals
Digitally printed graphics applied as individual panels to vehicle surfaces. Allows full-colour graphics, photographs, and complex designs that cut vinyl cannot achieve. Available in various shapes and sizes and can be contour-cut to the shape of the graphic.
03
Partial Wrap Graphics
Printed vinyl covering specific panels or zones of the vehicle. Typically covers the doors, cargo body sides, and rear without covering the cab or roof. Aligned across panel breaks and door seams for a cohesive look. Significantly higher visual impact than door lettering alone.
04
Door Graphics
Targeted graphics on the driver and passenger door panels. The most common entry-level vehicle branding option. Carries essential brand information to every location the vehicle visits, in the format most visible to people approaching from the side.
05
Tailgate, Rear, and Magnetic Signs
Rear graphics highly visible in stop-and-go traffic and at delivery locations. Magnetic signs on magnetic backing allow removable branding for vehicles used for both business and personal purposes. Practical for sole operators using a personal vehicle for business calls.
Fleet Application?
Consistent Graphics Across Every Vehicle
We produce print-ready artwork and installation templates that ensure consistent results across every vehicle in the fleet, regardless of which installer applies the graphics.
Materials and Fleet Production
Cast Vinyl. 5 to 7 Years. Fleet Consistency Guaranteed.
We specify cast vinyl for all outdoor vehicle graphic applications and produce fleet artwork to ensure every vehicle in your fleet looks the same.
Quality cut vinyl applied to a clean, smooth vehicle surface typically lasts 5 to 7 years outdoors. For Alberta’s UV intensity and temperature range, we use cast vinyl for outdoor vehicle applications rather than economy calendered films. Cast vinyl lasts longer, conforms better to curved surfaces, and removes more cleanly at the end of its service life.
Vinyl graphics applied to factory paint in good condition can be removed without paint damage when removed correctly. We recommend professional removal for graphics that have been in place for several years, as adhesive can become more resistant over time. Heat application during removal reduces adhesive resistance significantly.
For fleet applications, we produce print-ready artwork and installation templates that ensure consistent results across every vehicle in the fleet. If you have existing fleet graphics produced by another company, we can recreate the design from photographs of the existing vehicles.

Full-Colour Printed Decals
Digitally printed graphics on cast or calendered vinyl, contour-cut to shape. Water-based latex inks: UV-stable, scratch-resistant, no cure time required.

Fleet Template Production
Print-ready artwork and installation templates produced for fleet consistency. Existing fleet graphics recreated from photographs if design files are unavailable.
Production and Installation Timeline
Cut Vinyl Ready in Days. Partial Wraps Take Longer.
Cut vinyl lettering and simple decal graphics can typically be produced and installed within a few days of approved artwork. More complex partial wrap graphics require more production and installation time depending on the number of panels and the complexity of the design across panel breaks and door seams.
We design, print, and install all vehicle graphics in-house at our Edmonton facility. No third-party production labs and no scheduling gaps. For fleet projects, we schedule installations in batches to minimize the number of vehicles out of service simultaneously and provide a production schedule at the start of each fleet project.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions

Can vehicle graphics be removed without damaging the paint?
